"Oh, don't apologize, you've told me more than you know," she replied to him, with a smile. So what she was told earlier was true, about the lord of the city abusing his power over his people. Indeed, the more time she spent there, the more she began to dislike this ruler of Rhyfaugh.
The girl began to muse on whether anyone in the city really knew anything about him. She could tell that to hold his people under such command and still stay in power he had to be intelligent, perhaps more in canaving ways, however, intelligent still. Thus, if her thinking was correct, then he would keep most of his dealings in secret and away from the gossiping populace. That disturebed her, for she wondered what on earth could he be planning next, now that he had banned religion.
Loud bickering between a man and his wife disrupted her thoughts. Looking up, she saw the city square busy with life once more, for most of the people that had assembled to hear the minstrel had now lazily returned to their austere lifestyles. Remembering a thought she had earlier that hour, brought a familiar glint to her eyes.
"Forgive me, my friend," she said looking at Meiso with a sincere, apologetic smile, "yet I fear that I have stayed too long. There is someone that I need to see. Thus, forgive me for I have to bring our meeting to a close. I do hope that we shall see one another again, soon." She bowed her head to him, truly sorry to leave him so quickly, and hurried off in the same direction that the bard had headed a few minutes before her.

"Uh, okay. See you." Said Meiso, blinking. He turned and saw Elysia. Since he had already stolen enough money he went to her table and grinned. "So when can I have my stuff back? I'll pay you." he said, leaning forward and watching her.

"Why should I sell you a bag of stolen gems when you'll give me stolen money in return?" She asked, giving him an incrudulus look. She finally settled on a price with a man and took her money, placing it in her pocket.
