(OOC: always fun)
Sarus was in a bar and drunk as hell when some human and a drow were disrespecting his culture, race, and, of course, himself. This would not do, Sarus would not put up with such ignorant behavior. One thing led to another and drunken Sarus was soon swinging left and right, occasionally striking a blow on them as well as receiving them.
Within minutes the entire bar was participating in the fight. A human swung at his face, he ducked and hit him in the face with the end of his staff, and another came from behind him with chains trying to strangle him. Sarus kicked him in his knee, breaking it. He got a second to think and mutter a few words under his breath and slammed his staff into the ground causing it to ripple like water, the punching the guy next to him in the face until he was thrown off.

Lyconus came inside hoping to unwind when a man went flying past him. "Hmm... guess I came at a bad time." He said to himself while observing the scene.

Sarus was knocking people out left and right, but at a cost. He now carried a black eye, cuts from a blade, and 3 broken fingers. Finally deciding to end the fight shortly, he muttered his words so fast and low that it was impossible for one to hear… and then suddenly about 5 men were screaming trying to put out the flames that eating them alive.
Sarus caught a glimpse of the man who had just walked in and picked him up by his front collar and chucked spat in his face as he yelled, “WHAT DO YOU WANT!?”

Lyconus remained calm as he was spat in the face and picked up. "Well... I came in here for a drink."

Nusumi entered the bar shortly after the fight began. She dodged fists and other varios flying objects as she headed to the bar.
She heard,"WHAT DO YOU WANT!!!' in a very anry tone and went to see what was going on. SHe came up to two men. One obviously beaten up and the other quite calm. She stood by the two and said nothing

"I suggest you let me go before serious harm comes to you." Lyconus spoke in that same calm manner while still being held up in the air.

Nusumi was suprised to be acknowledged by Sarus. She replyed a bit uncomfortably, "oh, yes, its lovely..." she quickly jumped aside as a pair of men fought their way past her.
Then she turned to Lyconus, "Good day Sir!' she said.

Creil had been riding through the city, travelling from one place to another, as unobtrusively as he could. By nature, Creil was not suited to stealth nor guile, as garments tailored from steel tend to be somewhat cumbersome and loud. He was in full, formal armour, as were the two paladin's who rode at his side. All had their visors down, showing that they did not wish to be interfered with. As they passed the tavern, a drunken reveller ran screaming from the front door, bathed in orange falme. He collapsed screaming in the gutter, rolling around in i futile attempt to quench the flame. Creil reined in his horse and sighed, "Mine friends, it doth seem that our intervention is required. Let us quell the spirits of said drunken revellers, without too many casualties." He smiled beneath his visor, "What say you sir knights?" The two paladins at his side laughed and dismounted, as did Creil and they led their war horses to the stables at the rear of the tavern, "Sir Bevier, the honour is yours." One of the visored paladin's said, opening the back door of the tavern. Creil stepped inside, flanked by the two armoured men. The scene was awfull, wrecked furniture and men lay in heaps on the floor, blood adorned the walls and several corpses lay smouldering in the corners. Sighing, the massive paladin loosened his axe, sword and morning star, though he did not draw any of them, not wanting to cause fatal injury. As the three fully armoured men walked forward, shoulder to shoulder, like an implacable wall of steel, their hands began to rain blows dwn on the brawling drunkards. One man turned to see the three of them, and reachod out, taking a half finished bottle of rum and breaking it on the table. Rum and broken glass covered the floor, and the drunk began advancing on Creil. When he approached, he lunged for the massive paladin's face, needing to jump to get close. Creil struck out with one massive steel clad fist, striking the man underneath his shoulder. The drunk screamed in pain as his arm was dislocated, and the dropped the broken bottle, staggaring forward, clutching his shoulder. With that, creil struck again, his blow connecting with the drunkard's temple. The man's eyes glazed and he was sent reeling to the floor. Creil looked about the room. Not many were left conscious or uninjured now, and things seemed to be calming down, then he caught sight of Lyconus across the room, "Hail, freind Lyconus." He called over the moans of the injured and unconscious.

"Hello old friend." He called to him and then looked at his female companion. "Thats how you stop something with ease." He chuckled and slowly made his way over to Creil.

Creil turned and said a few words to his armoured companions, who turned to leave the way they had come - looking after the gorses and preventing any unwanted company. As the left, Creil turned and picked his way over to Lyconus, carefully stepping over the moaning heaps of men piled about the floor. As the got close, Creil raised his visor and caught Lyconus in a strong, warm embrace, "Mine friend, thou must introduce me unto thine companions. We havemuch to catch up on." He grinned, "So let's get started." Creil turned and lifted his steel clad leg, kicking the assorted unconscious men off the table, making some room. He pulled out a stool for himself and Lyconus, then began to sit down, his armour creaking loudly.
