Rhythmic, metallic clangs echoed about the tunnels loudly in the half light, filling the still air with ominous sound. Slowly, dim light filtered hesitantly around a corner, wavering, then growing stronger, as it came closer, the metallic sounds growing louder as they too approached. Slowly, with heavy but cautios steps, a massive figure in full armour strode round the corner. He was encased from head to toe in steel, and his armour bore the mark of the holy order above his lovered visor. A great broadsword was strapped across his back, and in his hand he held a cruel war axe. A morning star was belted securely to his waist, and he wore a white surcoat over his armour, which flowed gracefully to the ground. In his other hand, he held a burning torch aloft, and something gleamed on his wrist. Silver light was scattered to the walls of the tunnel by a small, but intensely bright sliver circlet which adorned his gauntleted wrist. He was imposing, and carried himself with the bearing of a warrior, handling his weapon professionally. His immense frame almost filled the tunnel, and the top of his helm often scraped the roof, at which point he would mutter under his breath. Clearly, this man was making no attempt to hide his presence, and was either very brave, or completely insane. He paused, his metallic footsteps stopping. He raised his head in the now quiet air, "Hello?" He called into the dark.

kazuma walked up to the man. "just who are you?" kazuma asked with wonder. "so....you depend on your weapon then anything else huh?"

In the darkness, Eilis walked through the narrow halls. She carried no torch, seeing perfectly fine in the dark. Her slow pace allowed her to walk with light footsteps, in order to make herself undetectable. As a corner drew ahead, she heard the loud echo of metallic foot steps. Her eyes lit up as the glimmer of a torch appeared at the end of the hallway.
She stopped and waited. There was someone else there. She attentively listened and soon heard a man's voice. She began walking again, just as quietly as before and appeared past the corner. She stood before the two men.

Creil stopped, regarding the two who now stood before him - a man and a Drow. "Who art thou?" He asked them both, then turning to the drow, he held up the silver circlet which Ramona had presented him with, "I must see thy queen, friend" He pleaded.

Eilis walked toward the man. She looked at the necklace, without taking it. "it looks drow" she thought. She still had to be sure. "first, i would like to know who you are...."

Creil blinked, "I canst understand why thou art distrustful, friend." He said, "But how canst mine name prove anything to thee. I believe this circlet doth belong to thy queen, and she yet lives. Wouldst she surrender such a fine piece to an enemy? i am thy friend, Drow, and i must needs be speak with Ramona." He pleaded again.

"I apologize if I seem distrustful" she smiled "but i do believe it is only a reasonable request to know your name before i help you." and then, speaking to both "my name is Eilis by the way."

Eilis smiled at Kazuma's comment. She wondered how, especially why they were both in these tunnels. She looked at both of them. "well, follow me. It might be a little more comfortable to talk once we are outside." She began walking, passing both of them.

Eilis glanced back at Kazuma. "well, that is asking if every human is nice. All drow are different. Some do not enjoy the presence of humans or elf, others make no difference between races. I personally pay attention to one's personality traits rather than race." She then glanced back at the other man, still hoping to learn his name at least.

"yeah, let's just say i'm not welcome by most humans." kazuma said,he had been a loner, and a outcast for most of his life, but he had gotten used to it by now. "so....how much further?" kazuma asked, hopeing to get his answers quickly.

"I understand what you mean" she said, thinking of the years she had spent alone. She paused for a moment and said "not very much further" they came upon a corner, and she picked up the pace.

kazuma nodded, then walked faster as well. "i guess it was good when i came,or i wouldn't have met you." kazuma said,he had hopefully found his first friend. he had kept his spirits up for as long as he could for now.

Eilis smiled "I must say i am very glad i came too." She had to admit that she was suprised he had been so friendly. As they came upon another corner a very long stait corridor laid before them. At the end of it, a faint light could be seen. She looked back at both of them and said "as you can see, we're just about there."
