No New Posts Mountains

The tall snowcovered peaks of this range of mountains have many caves all over them. Some of these caves serve as entrances into the Web of Arathema. Avalanches are a constant danger in the high passes and many cave entrances are hidden by the snow. It's not unheard of for unknowing travelers to fall through holes in the snow and end up inside of vast caves.

These vast plains stretch from the forests all the way to the human city on the lakes edge. During the day, the lack of tree cover can cause unprepared adventurers trouble in this seemingly endless sea of tall grasses.

Human City Rhyfaugh

No New Posts Castle Gates

The wrought iron gates of the city have almost completely rusted in place. They have not needed to have been closed in ages and these times are no exception. The gatekeepers are nowhere to be found, mostly hanging out at the tavern instead of their posts.

High Elven Lands of Laenaia

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts Walls

A solid wall of magically enhanced overgrowth surround the entire city. The roads seem to disappear right under it's tangled heights. At each roadway, specially trained elven mages are positioned to allow for persons to pass into and out of the city. These "wardens," as they are referred to as, watch the roads from their hidden lookouts on the wall.

No New Posts Temple

Inside of the alabaster walls of this massive building contain the living chambers of the Archmage of the High Elves. She rules this land from his/her place upon a relatively plain looking white throne. This throne being more of a symbol than an actual object of meaning. The temple itself contains hundred of rooms meant to train ones mind and body for the use of magic. It is inside of these chambers that many of the greatest High elven heroes have grown into what they are now.

Drow Kingdom of Drest

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts Arathema's Web

A confusing network of tunnels leading down into the city from the surface above. There are many entrances into this mess of passages some coming in through the Human sewers. It is difficult to navigate these dark ways as they twist in upon themself much like a spiderweb, and only very few beings have ever mapped out the entire web. The drow know their way in and out of the main few passages, but dare not tread far from the known ways unless they absolutely have to, for it is unknown what lives inside of the deeper reaches of them.

A twisted set of alleyways extends from the main road going through the city. Off of these dark alleys lie a multitude of guilds. These guilds are a good way to learn many skills, although it is also a good way to get yourself killed depending upon the enemies of the varying groups.

No New Posts Bar

Gloomy spot on the outskirts of the subterranean drow city. This poorly lit nearly condemned building is the perfect sort of place for many a fugitive to hang out in. It's ill-tempered bartender doesn't care what happens here as long as he gets money. There isn't much of an appeal to this place save that it is the only place that you can get the Drow beverage spiderblood.

Dark, ominous looking temple to the Spider God Arathema. The Drow cult worships her in their dark rituals within this vaguely arachnid shaped temple. (Note: no races other than drow are ever to be permitted inside the temple under penalty of death. If you are a drow and do not know the password, either message me or Ramona to find out)

A surprisingly well lit room of grandiose proportions. It is lit by a multitude of torches on all the walls coming to an alcove on the far side of the room with a huge throne crafted of a strange black crystal. Passages lead out from behind the throne to the Spider Queens chambers.
