The Hunter with Seven Weapons

A brown cloaked traveler walked through the gates of Rhyfaugh. He walked with a purposeful gait and carried an odd looking metal and glass walking stick. He wore a broad brimmed brown hat that covered his half-elven features. Blond hair spilled out from under it and his eyes were looking forward harshly.

Ryn had been in Rhyfaugh before. It was during the Great Hunt. He brought down both Grodur and Magna here. Their heads and minds now rested at his former home with the gnomes. He might go backand collect those heads one day.

For now, Rhyfaugh meant jobs. This city had money flowing in it like water in a river. Of course, it was a human city, humans have always found reasons for hiring folk to do their dirty work for them. This should be a good adventure.

[Allura]

Ryn’s entrance did not go unnoticed as Allura was walking about the city, near the gates, getting a feel for this new city. She always seemed to know when there was reason to look one way or the next and his presence seemed to draw her eyes to him and so it was, Allura walked over his way, zigzagging through the many people walking about, going on with what ever it was they did.

She stopped, not more than three feet from this seemingly new arrival and looked up at him.

She wore her usual leather attire, the symbols tattooed on her shoulders and forearms clearly visible, she never tried to hide who or what she was, it was ridiculous to do so. Her short spiked raven locks massed delicately about her small round and pretty face, her brown eyes friendly and calm and before she spoke, she bowed slightly to this man.

“Hi, and welcome to the city, though I have a feeling you have been here before, am I correct?” She greeted and then inquired.

Ryn looked down at the young woman. She had noticed that he seemed at ease here. Well, very perceptive of her. Impressive, he'd applaud if he cared.

"So Rhyfaugh has started a tourism business, it seems..." he mumbled to himself.

"You are right. I have been here before, on more pressing terms. Today is as much rest as I've had in a long time. I'm here to meet someone actually."

[Allura]

Allura ignored his rather snide comment; she wasn’t about to let him distract her from what ever it was she was doing. At times, not even she had a clue, she just simply acted.

“To meet someone, you have business then.” She started. “You seem to think yourself rather important, perhaps you are, what difference that makes is beyond me, but, all that aside..” She paused and regarded him. “I am Allura, I am certain it is my pleasure to meet one as important as you clearly are sir…” She left it hanging, a note of sarcasm in her tone.

Ok, so she couldn’t let the snide remark go.

"Clearly," he said, mimicking her tone, "you seem to think that I care what a little magic girl in Rhyfaugh thinks of me. I'm not here to make friends." He finished rather harshly.

Then he thought....if Jes hears of this it'll be my hide over the fire.......

He dipped his head and rubbed eyes sheepishly, "I'm sorry, miss. I've been a little edgy for the past few days. I just have a bad habit of snapping at people."

[Allura]

Allura tilted her head slightly to the side as continued to look up at him, her dark orbs wandering over his face, as if seeking something out in him. She suddenly took on, not a young, but very old and wise look in her 200 year old eyes. Her manner changed almost immediately from friendly, to mocking and now, serious.

“Think nothing of it sir.” She replied, her tone calm and relaxed as her righted its self and she turned away from him and took a few steps away, paused and then turned around.

“Might I have the name you seek? Perhaps I know the whereabouts of said person.” She added over her shoulder.

He obviously didn’t want company and so, she would give him his space, she wasn’t so desperate for company, not liking it so much herself and so, if he wished to be alone, and her presence bothered him, she would leave, though she felt obliged in some sort of way to at the very least try and help him out, if he was indeed looking for someone specific.

A flame of annoyed anger still burned in his head. A headache that never left when dealing with ...people. This girl had gone from such a perky lass to a cold woman. It did nothing to make him any friendlier, thats definitely for sure. There was no way Jes would ever make him nice, as she said. He loved her, but that wasn't him. I'll leave happy-go-lucky to Connor.

"I'm looking for my friends. One is a man shorter that me with brown hair and a long, blue coat. He may or may not be wearing blue lenses over his eyes, and a woman of about your height with strawberry blonde hair and a longbow..."

Ryn didn't know why he was telling her this, maybe he was getting nicer...

[Allura]

Sky thought a moment and then shook her head. “No sir, I apologize, once again it seems I have wasted your time as I do not know those who you seek, though if I find them, I will let them know of your arrival, that I promise.” She replied, offering him a slight smile before she turned again.

She didn’t like what she felt in this one, he was to uneasy, not in tune with anything she loved, he was…a harsh man, harsh and unloving, well, perhaps that was a bit harsh, but nonetheless, he definitely was not one she thought would enjoy her company at any point in time, perhaps one day he would come to find the calm, friendly and down to earth Sorceress to not be so offensive, but for now, she would let him have his complete space.

“I bid you a good day sir, and I do hope you find your friends. “ She added, to not be rude before she began once again to walk away.

"Good day..." Ryn bade gruffly and continued to walk toward his destination. He readjusted his swordhilt, and gripped his alchemical staff more tightly.

People......, he thought.
