It was with much difficulty, even with the silver circlet which Ramona had provided him with, that Creil managed to reach her throne room. It was with even more difficulty and several arguments, that he managed to keep his armour and weapons. Now, Creil stood waiting outside the doors to the Queens throne room, awaiting his friends summons.

Ramon sat on her throne when she got the message that Creil waited outside the doors.
“WHAT!” She exclaimed grabbing the Drow messenger by the front of his tunic. “Let him in immediately, the rest of you… OUT.” She growled, loosing the messenger giving hi a little shove towards the great double doors that hid her friend.
She had known he’d have been met with plenty of speculation and looks, perhaps even a few challeng4es, but at last, he had made it through the city, not an easy task for any outsider, no matter what they had with them to show that they were allowed in the Drow city, her people were very protective of her to begin with, and then, as well, most untrusting of just about any who was not Drow. And for good reason.

Creil heard the shouts from the other side of the door, and concealed a smile as the wildly protesting Drow were hearded past him and away from the room. With heavy, metallic steps Creil approached the throne upon which Ramona sat. Reaching the bottom of the raised dias, he stopped and fell to one knee, "Your Highness." He said respectfully.

Ramona was about to correct him, reminding him he had no reason to bow before her, then realized she was indeed sitting upon her throne, and as such, making this quite a formal meeting. She smiled down at him and leaned forward, placing a soft hand on his shoulder. “Rise dear friend and sit.” She motioned to the recently vacated seat of what would have been her chief advisor that resided directly next to her throne, though lower, of course.
Her emerald eyes looked him over, and took in his state, or, as well as she could, him being armored and all that, he was not what you would call easy to read.
“What brings you to my lands Sir Bevier, and I do hope you weren’t given much trouble.” She asked and then stated all at once, barely holding back her joviality ion simply seeing this mighty warrior again.

Creil stood slowly, his armour creaking as she gave him leave to sit. He inclined his head politely, but refused to sit down, "Prithee forgive mine apparent uncivilty, Ramona mine friend, though i cannot sit in yon chair. I art unworthy, and would not wish to cause thine subjects to feel undervalued nor harbour feelings of dark jealousy." Creil smiled wanly. "I did not expect to arrive at thy palace with speed, nor ease, mine friend, however, the journey was no more difficult nor trying than i did expect." Creil said, still smiling, but clearly happier now. "Mine visit doth occur from grave circumstances in no small measure, i do fear me." Creil explained frowning, "I would have wished our next meeting to afford time for pleasantries and joviality, but needs be i must curtail mine exuberance at this time." He frowned, the expression didn't suit him, at all.
