((ooc: Anyone is welcome to reply. ;D))
In some clearing in the middle of the forest, a Silaqui let out a soft grunt as she plopped down on the ground in the shade of a tree. Her familiar, Ebony, had taken the shape of a black cat and lounged lazily in the sun. "Well, I'm glad you're enjoying all this sun," she grumbled. She sighed and leaned against the tree she was using for shade, and set aside her basket. She and Ebony had been collecting herbs and other handy supplies all day, and frankly, she was a little tired. She subtly checked her wristbands to make sure that all of her daggers were in place and was considering closing her eyes for a brief nap when she heard a twig snap somewhere closeby. Without giving anything away, she closed her eyes halfway, pretending that she hadn't heard it. If the person decided to show his or herself, she would be prepared.

Andromeda was walking along in the forest, checking for anything she could possibly use. She thought she heard someone speak and in her attempt to find out who it was, she accidentily stepped on a twig.
She froze. Curses... She moved after a moment and then she saw who the speaker was. Silaqui...
Glad that it was someone familiar, she approached the other witch. "Hello." she said with a smile. "Nice to see you again."

"Andromeda!" Silaqui said, jumping to her feet. "Well met. It is very good to see you again, too." Ebony rose to his feet and stretched himself out lazily, meowing indignantly at Silaqui. She rolled her eyes. "Andromeda, this is Ebony. He's a shapeshifter, but he's stuck to being only animals. Mind you, it suits him just fine, but he prefers that everyone knows that he understand what is said around him. It makes for fewer incidents where he turns into something nasty and mauls someone."

Andromeda laughed through her nose at that. "Well, he sounds alot like my familiar. She's around here somewhere..." she said as she waved her arm around her.

Ebony pretended that he hadn't heard that, but his eyes flicked around in curiosity as he washed his paw. "So, what is your familiar's name?"

"Amunet. Her name's Amunet. She's a shape-shifter to," she said shooting a glance at Ebony, " but I'm not fully sure if she can transform into a human or not. It's not that I don't know my own familiar, it's just that I don't think she's ever tried." Andromeda shrugged. She didn't look around for Amunet. Like Andromeda, her familiar was independant and didn't really like to be bossed around.
Andromeda took a seat next to where Silaqui was previously sitting. With a sigh, she said, "Whoo. It's been a long day."

Silaqui plopped down onto the grass again with a not-so-graceful oof. "That, it most certainly has been," she agreed. "This sun is so bothersome, too. I much prefer going out at night, but you never know who's up and about and looking for trouble."

(gah! i posted something, but it must have gotten deleted or something...><)
Andromeda knodded in agreement. "Very true, very true." Andromeda was quiet for a few moments as she looked above her into the leaves that were given an etheral glow by the fractions of sunlight filtering through them. She sighed and stood up. "Sorry to seem rude, but I'm afraid I must go. Would you perhaps like to come to my house this evening?" she asked Silaqui hopefully.

"Sure," she said. She didn't want to seem rude, so she stood as well. "How will I find your house?"

Andromeda said a few inaudible words and a slip of paper appeared in her hand. She read over the delicate violet words on the paper. Satisfied, she handed the paper to Silaqui.
"Those are the directions to my house. Since all the houses generally look the same, I will try to make mine stick out." she said with a smile. "Sorry to seem like I am abandoning you, but I must go. " she said with a smile, bent over to pick up her things and nodded her head in farewell." I shall see you tonight then." and with that, she disappeared into the forest.
