Z walked over and sat by the lake. He had on red robes that reflected off the sun. His White hair was also reflected. He had his “Elemental Mage” head band on covering his left eye. He looked at the water. He saw the ripples and waves made by the wind.
“Hmmm” he said quietly to himself.
He stood up, touching his headband. He lifted it in a certain way. His red eye was revealed. Suddenly, everything around him stood still. He took his hands, and shaped a ball in the air, then he let go of it. Time began again. As it began, the ball of air became visible.
“Yes…”
He took it in one hand, and threw it at the water. Then when water was about to splash him, he froze time again. This time, he took drops of water, formed a ball. He unfroze time and concentrated on the ball. It stayed, solid-like. He spread his hands and moved them, the water moving with them. When he was done, there was a scribble-like character.
“Almost…”
He threw the ball in the air. He spread his arms vertically, and the picture expanded. Now even the people far away in the land of Humans would be able to see it. Most people knew what it meant. Some were naive and thought it was a cloud. But most knew what it meant.
Z had returned.

bic: Lyconus had been hunting to keep his skills sharp when he felt something unnatural enter the area and checked it out. What he found was something he wasn't too sure of.

I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.

OOC: No one has described the weather yet, so I picked a condition. Oh and I wasn't sure whether the cloud was actually shaped into a Z or what, so I just left it as a "scribble-like character." Yeah, I know, logic. But you never know.
It was a beautiful day.
Eiddwyn walked with a bounce in her step, wide-eyed and wondering at the word around her. She marveled at the beautiful array of colors represented in the wildflowers scattered about, and the deep shade of green displayed by the grass that grew between them. The sky was a beautiful shade of blue and there wasn't a cloud in the sk-- wait a minute, Eiddwyn thought suddenly, a quizzical expression settling on her face. Something vaguely cloud-like floated over the lake -- but first of all it was the only one in the sky, and second of all the shape seemed somehow off...
Wondering what it could be, she unslung her pack from across her back and began rummaging through its contents. "Here we go," she muttered, withdrawing a book on weather magic and beginning to rifle through it. "No, no, no..." she said as page after page failed to explain the mystery to her. Finally she closed the book and replaced it in her bag. Walking forward to the edge of the lake, she dropped her cloak and pack, kicked off her boots, and sat down cross-legged, peering up at this strange phenomenon with undisguised curiosity. Upon closer examination, she noticed that the clouds were formed into some sort of scribble-like character. "Is it a message?" she wondered aloud, heedless of the red-robed mage nearby. Plenty of people thought her crazy already, and besides, talking to oneself was a far more wide-spread habit than most people thought.

Z looked up at the scribble-like cloud again. He concentrated and it took the form of a Z. He looked around and sat down at the edge of the lake, waiting. He knew someone would come wondering about it.
He sensed a girl nearby. He stood up, his eyes darting around. ‘ No, No, No…” he heard her say. He looked and saw her sitting across from her. “Yes, it is a message.” He said, covering his red eye. “It means that I have come back” he said quietly.

Eiddwyn jumped at the sound of the sorcerer's voice. Most people just tended to ignore her mutterings, and she was surprised to have received an answer this time. She glanced over at the man, then back up at the cloud, which had shifted to form a Z. "You've been here before?" she asked him.
Then something behind the half-elf caught her eye; noticing Lyconus attempting to sneak up on the mage, she quirked an eyebrow at him. Unsure of his intentions, she glanced back at the red-robed sorcerer, wondering whether or not to tell him. If the warrior was just playing a joke then she didn't want to be a spoilsport, but if the situation was more serious then she didn't want to be responsible for the sorcerer's death...

Eiddwyn blinked, taken aback slightly. "I didn't even think of that," she murmured, and it was true. She'd been so concerned with the human warrior's intentions that she hadn't even considered that the sorcerer's intentions could be less-than-honorable. True, she hadn't been in Adunasir very long, but that didn't make it a good idea to accidentally get entangled with plans for world domination. I must be more careful, she scolded herself silently. In this day and age you never know who you'll run into.
OOC: that might not've come out the way I meant it to... I'm kinda tired, so...

Z looked at Lyconus. "It doesn't matter to you, know does it?" He said in his smooth voice. He looked at the other girl. "It isnt yours either." he said to her quietly. With that, the 'Z' rose higher and higher.
