Wordlessly Kaia walked from the tavern. While she had been there the sun had grown stronger, and a blast of warm air flooded over her. "Nice day, I suppose," she commented as she continued down the road to the city square where she had been earlier.
Looking around and trying to see over the heads of people she eventually spotted the booth that a person she had met earlier had pointed out to her.
Looking back to make sure that she hadn't lost Osha in the crowd she walked towards the booth where a short, elderly man was leaned back in his chair, fast asleep.
Trying to be polite Kaia gently poked him, "Excuse me sir. we would like to buy some food. The shop keeper grunted and shifted position and let out a loud snore.
"Sheesh, some people these days are really heavy sleepers," she commented under her breath. Still not wanting to be rude, since she was already disturbing the mans sleep, "Hello?" she called out louder.

Osha followed her cousin closely, feeling a bit well 'clingy',"Yes I am still here."
When Osha saw that the shopkeeper was asleep, she decided to wake him; she felt very uncomfortable in the city square because people who disliked her glared and stared. Osha walked behind the shopkeeper, and poked him repetively on the back, "Wake up little shopkeeper...wake up!" she called soothingly.
Osha was getting annoyed her and her cousin both couldn't wake the shopkeepr politely so she decided she would have to be a bit more un-serene. Osha gave Kaia a devilish smirk, but took a deep breath, as she got a hold of the chair. She began to shake it wildy trying to wake the man, who seemed to be dead, since he could not be easily awoken, "Grr, will you just wake-up for goodness sake!" Osha kept on shaking the chair, until she accidently let go of it. The chair fell to the ground, and the man fell down along with it.
"Well that should've done it." Osha said as she gave Kaia a side-ways glance, and went to help the elderly man up, "My apologies."
The elderly man stood up, "Well indeed that was a rude awakening, but I suppose since you are going to purchase something at my wonderful shop, I will let you be, without a lecture." The shopkeeper glared at the two cousins, as if they were about to steal from his shop. "Don't you hate it when little rat scum-bags invade your privacy..." the bitter shopkeeper added in, with a little smirk across his face.
"Yes I do, but even worse when you are trying to help a little rat scum-bag out, and all they give you is helk, glares, and rude little lectures." Osha shot back thinking,'Just because we're a half-breed...'
Osha inspected the foods that were at the booth, she shook her head in disapointment, there wasn't much that would work to well in the wild, but oh well it would have to do. She picked up a basket and started to fill it with some dried fruits and veggies, and some undried. That way they would be fresh, and when those veggies were about ready to go, they could drie them themselves.
"These will be good for me. I think such a kind man such as yourself, would have cheeper prices then all the rest of the despecable boothes. Such a kind man deserves to have more cosumers, I will gladly spred the news of this man, who has fresh goods, for lower prices! Wait a moment, or do you have lower prices?" Osha asked the man, hoping that her skills of bargining was going to work on the shopkeeper.

Though her face stayed the same Kaia was fuming at the shop-keeper inside. Now glad that they had pushed him off the chair and sorry that he hadn't gotten a bruise to remember the little 'rat scum-bags' as he so kindly put it.
The old man scowled spitefully, "Maybe I could give you a small discount, how about 15 bronze coins for the lot in your basket their.
That price is ridiculous, I believe he may have even raised it! she thought a glared at the man.
Looking over the items she sighed, glad that she could at least use some of the things here. Picking out a jar of honey, a few choice slices of dried apple, a bag of oatmeal, some flour, and to strips of fish. Kaia had been taught many recipes to use that would last long when she was going on a long journey. Often she wondered if she would of starved without this knowledge. Kaia didn't like working with wood stoves, and really wasn't much of a chef. She could cook well enough to survive though and that was good enough for her.
Turning to the shopkeeper she slammed the foods on the counter, not bothering to try to barter she placed a handful of coins on the desk. Greedily he shoved them into a money bag that he had been keeping under the counter and sat back in his chair.
Without another word to the greedy old guy Kaia walked as far away as she could and sat on a bench. "Well that was annoying," she commented. Kaia smiled devilishly. "He should watch his produce better."
When the shopkeeper wasn't looking she had casually slipped a spiders nest she had spotted about to get stepped on on the ground into the corner of his apple section. "In a few days the spiders nest should hatch, and he can't blame that on us now can he."
ooc- sorry for weird version of revenge. It is late here and I am tired.

Osha was begining to get ticked at this man, "You know you might want to watch your produce closer, those rat scum-bags that you were talking about might have stolen something. You are lucky I woke you." Osha rolled her eyes at his next comment about his 'discount'.
"Is your money different then ours, because that isn't a discount, I would say that is a raise; but if your money is worth less then ours maybe it is. Or should I go get my pure bred human brother to buy the food from you? Since we are such scum-bags." Osha said staring the man right in the eye.
"Uh-you rot-" the man began.
"What do scum-bags do?" Osha yelled as she turned to Kaia, "Would scum-bags do this?"
Osha took her basket and threw all the food at him, and then tipped over the booth, right on top of him. Osha walked away from the man, with a smirk across her face, leaving the man twitching on the ground as he yelled for Osha to get back here. Osha stopped in her tracks, and then returned to the man full of confidence.
She reached into his money pouch, stole back her cousins 15 bronze coins, and then took the rest of the money and shoved it into the mans mouth, "Eat that you money-hungry, racest man!"
To top it all off she took a cream-pie that he had on for sale, and splattered it on his face, and spat at him, Then picked up a juicy red apple, and took a great big bite out of it as she walked away, "Now that is what a scum-bag would do."
Osha tossed an apple at her cousin, and then sat down beside her, "Must admit these apples are great. We'll find someone else kind enough to actually purchase items from eventually." Osha said as she handed her cousin back her money.

ooc- sorry for the confusion. lol
bic- Osha could here the convertsation going on between the racest man, and what appeared to be his daughter. She smiled at the thought that someone out there didn't hate her type.
Osha walked up to the mess, and bowed to the girl, "I appreciate your understanding, and well I am sorry to you," Osha continued to look at the girl, "for the mess." Osha extended her hand towards the girl.
"My name is Osha, it is nice to meet someone who isn't prejudice, racest, someone who is actually normal, which I guess really is not normal." Osha finished giving the girl a smile, and picking up some apples that were on the ground.

Osha smiled at Adrienne, "I know I am the same way, most high elves hate drows, but I am fine with them. I also like humans, and pure high-elves. I don't get why people are so damn judge-mental, it doesn't make someone different or bad just because of their breed."

BIC- Kaia caught the apple and bit into it, "It is good fruit," she said dryly. Not really wanting to compliment the man. "Yes we will have to then I guess." Accepting her money back from Osha she shrugged and put it back into the small pouch that she kept tied to her belt along with a lot of her other possessions.
Adrienne who she had met earlier soon approached them. So the man was her father then, Kaia hadn't seen that coming. Watching the two talk silently she took another bite from the apple.
Shrugging she said, "Some people are judge mental, because they believe that their kind is better then all others. Others simply because they cannot except those different then them. In a few cases the person may have had a bad run in with somebody of that particular breed, therefore disliking everybody of the sort. Sometimes though I really think that they just have issues."

Osha laughed at Kaias' thoughts, "I must agree I think they have issues."
"Come on lets go, and find another booth, where we can get some bargains." Osha said as she started walking in the direction of a booth that a young poorer looking lady stood beside.
"Hello there." Osha said happily to the lady, "Pretty nice day today, isn't it?"
The tired looking lady looked up at Osha and forced herself a smile, "Hello darling, it is a fine day for weather, but nothing of the sort for beings in general, and finances..."
"I am sorry to hear that, I have ran into some rather irratable people today, but I could help you with your finances, and I will spread the word of your shop." Osha tried to make the lady happier, expecially when she saw that she had a younger daughter laying on her lap.
Osha picked up a variety of dried goods, some spices that would go well with soup, and preparing other meals, some carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, and a few apples to snack on. Then she decided to by a wonderful scented apple pie, "Ummmm...it smells delicious! Freshly baked, I am assuming." Osha said smileing at the youngen.
"So how much will this be?" Osha asked as she showed the lady all of the goods.
"I know this sounds like a lot, but this is all I get by on, after loosing my husband and son in the war," A tear fell down from her cheek, "I am sorry, I should be keeping my home at home. The price of that lot is nine bronze."
Osha smiled at the lady, "Not to bad, for this quality of goods, and for a decent being that hosts this shop, not a bad deal at all!" Osha placed her money in the womans hands, plus an extra two coins. Then she slipped one more bronze coin in the youngsters hand.
"You two have a good day now, I'll be spreading the news of the wonderful shop you folks have here." Osha gave a last smile then walked over to the bench, and went through all of her goods.
"Thank-you, thank-you, my kind lady!" the poor lady said in a joyful tone, as her eyes lit up at the money she just recieved.
"Mommy, look at the girl gave me!" announced the proud little girl.
"Poor people." Osha thought to herself.
