Eilis wandered aimlessly. She felt it quite peaceful where ever creatures laid in their eternal rest. She laid in the grass, staring at the sky. After a little bit, the sky became too bright for her eyes so she closed them and began to fall asleep.

Marie knelt by a row of graves, her eyes closed and her head turned down. These gravestones were far from being as well made as the others but they were the best that Marie could do. Already they were starting to age and the only thing that kept them from falling over was Marie's care. She just wished that she could have done so much better.

The noise of light footsteps in the grass awoke Eilis. She quickly sat up and rubbed her eyes, slowly getting used to the brightness of the field. She saw a girl walking and looking at grave stones. "she's human" she thought. She stood up, stumbling a little as she was still tired. She walked toward the girl. "so, what are you doing there?" she smiled gently.

Marie jumped slightly as the girl walked up to her. She had been expecting, and half hoping, that she was the only one in the graveyard. It is so much easier to grieve when you are alone. "Praying," Marie said to the girl without looking up to see who it was she was talking to.
