As they walked in through the massive iron bound oak doors, under the imposing stone arch, Creil smiled and turned to Eidlin, "I know not why he hath not been previously deposed. Perhaps he hath more money at his disposal than men have decency and honour." He said, frowning as he led her down the knave of the church, and behind the altar. They turned to walk down another hallway, leading away from the vaulted main hall of the church. After a short while they reached another heavy set of doors which were barred and guarded by four men in full armour, all wearing bright blue surcoats. As they approached, one of the men bowed jerkily to Creil, "Brother Confessor," He said, "Welcome back." "Mine thanks brother." Creil replied. With that the guards began to open the heavy doors, to reveal another hallway, leading to another set of doors which stood open, showing an open courtyard. Several men dressed in brown monks robes walked across the courtyard, their hands clasped and their heads bowed, though these were no ordinary monks - they were knights of the holy order, and beneath their religious garb they wore chain mail shirts, and had swords belted to their waists. "Welcome to the chapterhouse of Rhyfaugh," Creil said, beaming as they stepped through the doorway.

Eidlin was amazed by the grandure of the chapterhouse and the church itself. Indeed, this was much more spended than the small church that her father had taken her to. As they walked and were met by many of the guards of the church and it's domains, Sir Bevier's title of 'Brother Confessor' intrigued her.
As they entered the beautiful courtyard of the church, she stopped and turned to face her companion once more. "Sir Bevier, are you a priest then, for your brethern refer you as their Brother Confessor? I must confess that I have not been to church for many years now, and have forgotten many things about it."

Creil smiled warmly, turning to face her, "Dear Eidlin, all members of the holy order hold ecclesial rank. We are all priests in one form or another. Aside from mine title of brother confessor, i am also a Marquis. Thou shalt find mine bretheren hold similar titles also." He paused, "The holy order is a brotherhood, and we doth refer to each other as 'brother'." He added almost as an afterthought. He looked about the courtyard, "Thou art no longer in the church, but in the chapterhouse of the holy order. It is somewhat more similar to a fortress than a church, Dear Eidlin." He smiled, "Shalt we seek a room fitting for thy stay, Lady?" He asked.

She was caught off guard by his proposition. She hadn't expected Creil to offer her a place to say, especially on such ground.
"I do not know what to say, Sir Bevier. That would be too great of an honor." Eidlin replied looking him in the eyes to see if the offer wasn't forced. She hoped that her presence there wasn't a disturbance to Creil and the other men she had seen.

"Nay gentle lady, it is of no moment. I would be honoured to offer mine services to one such as yourself, so long as thou wilt accept mine hospitality?" He said, beaming in a way which could have made the sun jealous. "Thou art knew to this place, and i wouldst offer thee a place to stay, at least until thou doth wish to move on, or perhaps a more permanent arrangement?" He chuckled, "Now, on to the guest rooms." He boomed.

Eidlin laughed, a clear, happy laugh, one that not many people had the pleasure of hearing. And before she could reply, Creil led her off to the guest housing.
"Thank you, Sir," she said quietly. "And please, as we are to see each other more frequently, call me Eidlin. As I have said, I am no lady, no matter the speech." Looking around the courtyard again, the girl knew that staying here was something she wished beyond all else. Glancing at her escort, she stopped him again. "I am in your debt Sir, for I have accepted your offer. And unless there is a way I may repay it now, know that I will not forget your kindness," her voice was soft, but full of sincerity.

Creil paused in mid stride. He had lead her away from the courtyard and down several straight, long and narrow corridoors, the walls of which were plain and unadorned. Turning to Eidlin and raizing a quizzical eyebrow, "I must needs be apologise Eidlin, for there is nought i can ask of thee in recompense, this moment." A look of confusion briefly crossed his face, and his brows knitted in thought. They were not far from the private guest rooms now, indeed, they could be seen at the far end of the corridoor in which they now stood. Creil wasn't a complete innocent, no man could ever have so sheltered an upbringing, but he wasnt far from it. "I shalt show thee to thy room, Eidlin. Shouldst thou require anything more, there is a bell pull in thy room." He smiled, turning to lead her in the direction of a plain and unadorned door, through which would be her new rooms. He

She let him lead her to her room, and when they stopped before the door, she gently let go of his arm. Placing her hand now on the handle, she turned to face Creil once more, before he left.
"Thank you for everything again. One day, I will repay this kindness, Sir Bevier. However, before you take your leave, there is one more thing I would like to ask of you. And that being what shall I do, to aid you, wilst I am staying here? For I do hope that you have not all ready forgotten, that I came here in hope of being an aid to you against that man, Rit, the lord of this city." Eidlin's smile slowly waned from her face, and was replaced by a similar quizzical look that Creil sported earlier.

"Ah yes," Creil smiled, "I would ask that thou went out unnoticed into the city, to observe the populace, and keep thine ear to the ground, for any sign of activity from Rit." He paused, "Thou art unkown to him, and wouldst be able to gather information, where mine brothers and I wouldst almost certainly be recognized. Anything that thou dost uncover, would be of much use to us, Eidlin." He said, smiling warmly.

"All right then, I shall try my best for indeed none in this city have as much as seen me, besides your bretheren and yourself," she replied with another smile. Knowing there was nothing more to be said, she marely smiled once more and bowed her head to him in farewel. "Until our next meeting then, Sir Bevier." With that said, the girl lightly opened the door to her new room. Before walking in though, she stole one last glance over her shoulder.
