The warm blew against Kaia's face as she walked down the dusty road. Reaching the tavern Kaia slowly opened the door and went inside. Looking around for her cousin she shrugged when she found that she had not yet arrived, Kaia had come a bit early anyhow.
The young warrior had no idea why her usually calm self was so excited. It wasn't as if this was her first time seeing her cousin Osha. They had known each other years ago when they didn't even know of other places, but that was so long ago that memories of the happy times had been locked away in the back of the half-demons mind. Usually they made her sad to think about them and how her life would have been like if she had only been of pure blood.
"Oh well," she said with a sigh and ordered a drink. Sipping slowly at it she sat and waited for the only relative that she knew was still living. Shifting slightly in the stool she began to wonder how they would recognize each other. Still she was perplexed about how Osha had managed to reach her.

Osha stumbled along the path that lead to the tavern her and her cousin were to reunite once again. Osha smiled as the warm breeze played with her long healthy hair. She smiled at some high-elves, who just frowned at her.
"Stupid racest, iddiototic immbulsols..." she muttered to herself, "So nice to see your enthusiasm." she remarked to the snobish elves.
Osha glanced at her watch, she was already late, and this time not fashoinably late. She wore some baggy jeans, that were covered in dirt, a green v-neck t-shirt, and her usual colourful bracelates, oh and one more thing her mothers emrald pendant was pinned to her shirt. Osha scurried to the door of the tavern she was supposed to meet her cousin in, and turned the rusted door-knob. She quietly took a step into the tavern, and looked around. SHe shook her head, how was she supposed to know if her only family member was here or not. She could not even remember what her hair colour had been, all she could hope for is that she was a half-elf like herself, so that they would get along.
"Kaia!?" Osha called out to everyone in the room, "Is there a Ms. Kaia in the building?"

"Kaia!? Is there a Ms. Kaia in the building?"
Hearing her name called Kaia spun slowly around. Wondering who would know her name. Spotting the person who had called her name she abandoned her drink at the bar and walked slowly over.
The blonde haired girl looked to be Kaia's age. "Osha?" she asked the person who stood in front of her in a low tone. "It's Kaia," Kaia was positive that this was her cousin. Inside she couldn't be much happier. Until now she had no idea that any of her relatives were alive.
Walking in the direction that she had been sitting she motioned for her cousin to follow her. They had a lot to speak of and they could be here for quite a while.

Osha gave her cousin a huge hug, when she came up and introduced herself, she was pretty happy.
"It has been so long." she said in her sweet voice, as she let her cousin go.
Osha followed Kaia and sat down at her table, "One cream soda please." Osha said trying to crack a smile at the shopskeeper.
"So whats new?" Osha asked as she brushed her blonde hair out of her face, and let out a quiet short giggle.

ooc- sorry long post with lot's of talking.
"It has been a while," she agreed. Letting down the usual barrier she kept up that hid her emotions.
"What's new?" she repeated the question. "Well for whats new is that I traveled to Kingdom Adunsir to meet you here after you contacted me."
Kaia ordered a lemon flavored drink took a small sip of it before continuing. "I think that maybe we should start from when we were first separated."
Taking a deep breath she began, "Well you remember when it happened right?" By 'it' Kaia was referring to the day their families were murdered. "After I was taken by our parents killers they kept me locked up in a strange sort of caravan." At the mere mention of the thief's Kaia blue eyes burned with hatred.
"When we finally reached the destination, I do not know, nor do I know where it was. They blind folded me, I am positive it was underground though."
"I think this because it smelled damp in the cellar I was in. Their mistake was letting me keep the swords that my mother gave me before she died. They of course dulled their blades so that I could not use them against them, they simply wanted me to never forget what they did. To always have my mothers weapons by my side so that I would not forget that she was... dead."
Tears filled un-bidden into the girls eye, but before she would let them fall she quickly banished them with a brush of her hand to her face.
"As I said they made a mistake. For a year I practiced, dreaming of the day I would free myself from their grasp. Every day I mourned for out lost family. Then after a year had passed, though I was still young I knew I had to get out. I was being fed less and less as the days grew on. I still wasn't good with the swords being as young as I was, but I had stayed strong enough through my work to escape"
"So one night I pounded at the lock with my blunt sword until my hands bled, but the elven metal held strong and broke the chain. I snuck away and as I left I vowed to one day slaughter the villains."
"The next morning I reached a small village. After stealing food from a stand I stole away on a traveling merchants cart. The cart took me far to a slightly larger town. There I met Kisho the old warrior, who allowed me to stay in his barn and taught me how to fight."
"One day though I realized that I did not belong in the quaint village. I was shunned from all, but Kisho for being a half-breed, so when I felt that I knew the ways and had the training of a proper warrior I left, but continued training and mastering different arts of battle. I journeyed, never staying in one place for more then a few days."
"On my travels I admittedly came across many hardships. Some days grief threatened to hold me back."
"When I received your message I was happier then I have been for quite a while. Immediately I journeyed here to Adunsir to meet you, and here I am."
Kaia closed her eyes in disbelief of the luck that both she and Osha had made it this far alive. "Now tell me of what happened to you I am sure that it is just as hard to speak of."
Quickly Kaia went back to her usual way less open way of speaking. Her cousin had the right to know as much as Kaia could tell her, so she had.
"Also if you do not mind I would like to know how you reached me?" Kaia had been considering this since she had received word from Osha to meet her here.

Osha stared at her cousin and nodded while giving her cousin a look as if she understood, and was acting like a couselour, "Yes, yes, and how do you feel about that?" Osha said sarcastically, and then began to laugh.
"Well, to make a long story short, which isn't really short at all...You know our uncle Ruffious, well he took me in to his home, only because he wanted that monthly cheque that came a long with me." Osha went closer and began to whisper, "He still lives here in Adunasir, in the mountains."
" I was his slave, and his entertainer for his sickly perverted friends. If I did not entertain them, then I was beaten black and blue. In the middle of the night I would gather scraps of wood, and carve little arrows, and I made a bow. I would shoot at a protrait of our uncle, until I hit him square in the forehead. My archery skills grew rapidly, and it worked well as a stress reliever." Osha let out a small laugh, and then decided to quickly get on with her story, that she had only told once before.
"One day when he returned home drunk, he drew the line. After tending for the dirty rat, I ran away, with my bow, and my carving knife. He caught me, and ran after me with his shot-gun, he shot like sphco. I am thankful he was drunk, for he would have had a perfect aim." Osha said as she lifted up her shirt revealing her oval scar, "That is were he got me." Osha said pointing to her scar.
"I barely escaped alive, but I was determined to leave that imbolsol, to put it nicely. I ran to the outskirts of Adunsir, where I ran into a clan of drows' one of them willingly took me in, and disguised me as one of their kind. I was excepted, and the sourceress' of their clans, taught me their magic, that seemed to come to me easy, that is when I discovered I was a wizard. Our clan went traveling and I came along, as their main hunter, we lived a very harch lifestyle. We basically lived like homeless people, one day we stole food from a high-elves super market. That was a mistake. Soon after we stole the food, I left to go hunting in the forests for our clan. When I returned to our camp, it was in flames, and all was left was a piece of partchment that read' Do not mess with the high-elves.' Immediatly I ran away from our camp grounds, worried for my life. For the next year of my life a lived with the animals, and I started to love them; eventually I converted into a vegetarian. Now I only use my archery skills for defence. One day while exploring the forests that I thought I knew up and down, I found a cave. Inside the cave there was a jypsee, and she had a crystal ball. She took me in, and I learned even more magic. It was rather fun living with her, her fellow jypseees would have festivals..." Osha trailed off.
"Well anyways that leads to my conclusion of how, I messaged you. I made friends with the creatures of the forests, and amoung one of them was the volture that sent you my message. One day I asked the jypsee, her name was Emilia, to look into her crystal ball, and see if I had any family left. While staring into the crystal ball, a blurred image appeared, the only thing I could identify the super market which I regretful stole from. Immediatly I told my volture friend to find you, and send you a message. The message I still remeber, 'Meet me Osha, in the tavern, in exactly 31 days, and at 3:00pm." Osha looked at her cousin and took a deep breath.
"Long, I know, but that was a very summarized summary version of my life. Quite the adventure we have both lived, you know I think we'd be good partners. You with your warrior talents, me with archery and my magic." Osha closed her eyes, thinking of defeating the murderers, that had reunied her life.
"I am set to get back at those evil people who dared to attempt to destroy our lives. I must ask of you one favour though, if I am to stay here with you."

Kaia listened closely as Osha spoke. Grimacing at the thought of her uncle she nodded a silent agreement.
After the end of her story Kaia as well thought of teaming up with Osha. One day getting what she had sworn to do all those years ago, to avenge her family. To make the murderers that had killed all she had, who had beaten her, the ones who were heartless beings that would kill a baby. In anger Kaia slammed a fist on the table, nearly knocking over both glasses. Anger began to rise in her and she hardly noticed the people in the tavern looking at her in disapproval.
At the sound of the familiar voice she came back. Sighing greatly she replied "Yes, what is your favor?"

Osha laughed as all the people stared at the two, "What is so amusing to you? My cousins beauty?" she asked and then began to laugh.
Osha looked back at Kaia, "Our...-uncle." Osha hissed, "He still lives here, and I am not safe alone, so I must ask if I could be with you at all times. I understand if you have to deny my request, but then I will have to return to the jypsees, if you accept my favour, then I can stay. It will be a risk, but at least I will have some defense, and then we will not be seperated if we need eachother once more." Osha looked up at her cousin, hopeful that she would let her be with her at all times.
"We can train until we drop, and then we will be ready to battle, until we win. We will be undefeated..."Osha stopped thinking that people would possibly assume that Osha was plotting to take over the world.
"So what do you think?" Osha finished.

Kaia pondered over the question. It was a big request, Kaia was used to being alone completely. In fact she hadn't really planned to stay in Adunsir, but things had changed since she first arrived.
"Yes, I understand your fear of being alone here with our uncle so nearby to this place." All along Kaia knew she would not have said no. Osha was family, and to lose her family again would be hard.
"You may stay with me. The idea of training until we drop is a good one. We will not win by cheating, no we will train against monsters we find in the outskirts of Adunsir. We will fight until we are sure that we can face the murderers without fear of losing. Even if it means giving up all rest. I would surrender my life to kill them." The topic of her past was not among Kaia's favorites so quickly she changed the subject.
"On the way here I ran out of food completely. If it is alright with you I need to go buy some in the city square." Standing up from her chair she left coins enough to pay for the drinks and walked out of the bar. Without speaking another word.

Oshas' eyes lit up when her cousin accepted the favour Osha had asked upon her. Osha stood up and gave her cousin a a tight hug, and then finely let her go, "Oh my gosh are you actually serious? I mean I am not totally fright of, our uncle, but if he came up from behind and shot me, I'd be dead. If I was dead then I wouldn't get my revenge." Osha curled her fingers into a fist as she gave out an evil laugh.
"Well I do love the fact of training, it seems to be a hobby of mine. I hate cheaters-" Osha rolled her eyes,"We will win honestly, truthfully, and easily."
"So where are you thinking of living. I am good at living in the forests, I know how to survive in there, and I know a lot about foods and all sorts. We can build a hut, and it could be near a beautiful stream-" Osha continued, as she dreamed of the wonderful world of her dreams.
"No problem, I can point out some foods that do well for a long time, and are easy to prepare..." Osha trailed off as she followed Kaia out the door of the bar, and left her money for her order.
"Sorry I got to go!" Osha said to the bar tender, "Take the money, sorry for your troubles."
