OOC: Multitasking. So sue me. This takes place the day after the discussion in the Paladin chapterhouse. To look at her, no one would ever guess that the young woman now entering the Tavern was a Paladin. Her tangled red hair was held back by a gray strip of cloth about two inches wide that acted as a crude sort of headband. Her bangs evaded capture, as bangs do, and hung as a ragged veil over her delicate but scowling features and glaring green eyes. She wore a tight brown corset over a simple, untucked blouse of undyed linen. Her pants were simple but sturdy brown breeches, and her boots -- plain, beat-up brown leather -- were similarly practical: flat-footed, tight enough to fit without impeding her movement. At her side in a plain black sheath hung a sword with an elegantly tooled silver hilt that gleamed in contrast with the somewhat-the-worse-for-wear rest of her. Her Paladin's shield had been left hanging on her saddle, thus leaving the woman without a single mark to identify her for what she was. Her booted feet fell heavily on the floor as the... Paladin headed over towards the bar. Her shoulders were hunched against the world, and anyone who dared to so much as look at her received a glare to cow the Devil himself. Sullenly, she slammed herself onto a stool. “Beer,” she snapped to the person behind the counter without even bothering to look at them. “Cheap and strong.” edit: OOC: y'know, sometimes a character doesn't want to talk but the mun wants you to pester them.

Cellina had been in the tavern for a while, but she didn't drink. She kept a urgent eye and a ready ear. She was fiddling with her necklace that she had resieved from her firend. She saw a lady enter the tavern, and she desided to see if she could start an conversation with her.
"Hello. I'm Cellina!" she smiled warmly at her as she sat down in the stool next to her.

Averil glanced over incredulously at the elf, and gave a rather unfriendly grunt in return. Some people, she thought, just can't take a hint. Still, though, she had to admit, the elf was pretty brave to approach her despite her scowls and apparent unfriendliness. Brave, she thought, or else stupid.
Such a pity the Paladin was in no mood to admire others' bravery right now. "Don't care," she muttered, and angled her body away from the sorceress pointedly as she took a pull on the tankard of ale that had just arrived. She'd come to drink, damnit, not to socialize, and anyone who tried to change her intentions at this point was going to have a hard time of it.

Cellina was a bit shocked but nodded at the girl. She wanted to be left alone and there was no problem for Cellina to take a hint and leave an person alone.

OOC: Oh, I don't mind. I just find it ironically amusing because the term "girl" hasn't really suited my character since her adoptive family was slaughtered when she was ten... But that's in her history.
