"Which is never. Your boring, man. Admit it." He grinned at Lyconus, once more joking.

There was a groaning noise as the door of the inn opened. Stepping quickly in Alassea was drenched from head to toe. Her soft woven elven dress in shambles, its hem half covered with mud. Her long russet hair wet and running with water as it hung limp over her shoulders. Alassea’s small pale hand shook with cold, as they clasped her shoulders. Quickly she walked over to the bar asking the tender if there was a blanket of cloak she could use just to warm her but was given the answer of no. Having been a new comer she knew no one, she turned to look around the room. There weren’t many here at all, understandable she thought to herself. Who would be stupid enough to be out in this ran; “me of course” she whispered to no one but herself.
Alassea took hold of her hair pulling it over one shoulder; she bent down and twisted it wringing out as much water as she could. Suddenly she heard some lively conversation. Sitting to her right was a small group she had missed in her observation of the Inn. There sat only one of her kind there and another she would consider a Half-Elf one of both the races of Man and Elf. The only male presence was the two humans that accompanied them. Alassea was taken suddenly by curiosity; but her curiosity was going to have to wait for her pale icy skin, was indeed like ice.

Lyconus grinned, and shrugged his shoulders. "Wouldn't you like to know." He replied smugly and noticed someone else had arrived and was staring at them. "If you wish, you may join us." He called to her.

Alassea regarded the Human levelly, wondering why a human would associate with such as herself. Looking down at her drenched self, the decision whether to join the group or not was answered for her. Rubbing her hands over her shaking iced body she made eye contact with the one who presented her with the invitation, her sapphire eyes holding its steady gaze.
“I must express regret, sir. I am not fit to sit down; for I’m afraid my damp clothes aren’t appropriate for the company of others.” Dropping her head and look; Alassea turned to look out a window it still rain.

Eidlin turned her attention to the girl that Lyconus had earlier adressed. With a friendly smile, Eidlin stood up and made her way over to the stranger, pulling off her own traveling cloak as she went.
"That is nonesense. We all get wet at times, I myself have do so on numerous occasions. And it is the presence of others that will warm you up," she said smiling to the elf before her. Lightly, she placed the wool cloak in the others arms. "Perhaps that will help," she suggested as she led the other to their table.

Alassea smiled at the young girl that had placed the woolen cloak in her hands, but she was left dumb struck. No one had ever been kind to her this was all new, never had the warmth of kindness touched her until now.
“I…” she began unsure of what she should say, “Thank you.” Alassea concluded simple.
Looking towards the small groups table, she took a friendly step towards them. Slowly but surely she placed the traveling cloak over her icy pale shoulders. Taking a seat from another table she pulled it up.
Before sitting she looked around the group again. “I must thank you for your kindness. My name is Alassea Tîwele.” Smiling she gracefully sat down.

"You are quite welcome," Eidlin replied as she sat down next to her. "It is a pleasure to meet you Alassea. My name is Eidlin, Eidlin Isilramel. And let me introduce Meiso, Lyconus, and Raven to you as well," she said smiling gently to the new comer. The elf's hesitant steps and confusion had not escaped Eidlin's piercing gaze.
Looking at Alassea's pale face, Eidlin could not help but worry for her health. She had been around sick people for most of her life and knew the complications that came from the simplest things. She had come to learn not to take nature lightly, especially something like the chilling rain.
Seeing a waiter walk by, Eidlin quickly pulled her to the side. Quietly she ordered some hot tea for the elf specifying special herbs she wanted in it. As the waiting elf nodded and hurried away, Eidlin turned to the soaking girl next to her. "As soon as they bring that tea, you will feel better, but for now, some wine might warm you up, if you do not object to drinking it," she suggested kindly.

Alassea smiled slowly, she would need to give this young woman something for her kindness. “Thank you so much. I must give you all something for your kindness,” she spoke tucking a lose strand of hair behind her left ear. Looking up her eyes focused on Lyconus, something about him, he seemed so familiar but where she had seen him she knew not.

"Oh, please, don't," Eidlin replied hurridly. "It isn't necessary." But she grew quiet seeing how the elf looked at Lyconus. Smiling with understanding, she looked back at the others around the table. Everyone had grown so quiet as of late.

Lyconus looked back at the woman and he too seemed to remember her from somewhere. "I get the feeling we've met before." He said so all that could hear. (I'ma just give a short version, a very short version his story) "Once upon a time in another realm, I was a Lycan or werewolf as you might call them, for many years and that would be about 500 years or more to be exact. I was once a normal human boy of 17 years of age until a small war erupted between a group of vampires and lycans and I was saved by the Lycans and I became one." He paused to catch his breath and then continued on. "I soon learned many new things and fought in a few wars and met strange people through out my journies and before I came here which I suppose would be about a year ago, a cure like substance was made and I was no longer a Lycan.... but I still have the weakness of a Lycan and the immortality...." He let that sink into their brains.

Eidlin was in shock. She let her brown eyes settle into the dark corner of the room as he mind tried to contemplate what Lyconus had just told them, rather suddenly. She had heard stories, of Lycans, but only tales from a wonderer or a bard. Many times she had taken the legends of the Nomadic tribe she lived with as plain stories.
Bringing her eyes to Lyconus, the girl could tell that there was no joke or lie in his eyes. She figured that she had to accept what he said to be true. Only, she had to wonder if she could.

Lyconus noticed her gaze on him and returned it. "A warrior life is all I have really ever known.." He started to remember his companions in the group he led back in his own time.
