Cellina was normally in a purple gown, but in the Burial Grounds, she was in a black gown and veil. She was looking for some old "Friends" of hers.
She walked past some statues of Angels and Lords, gods and goddesses, and she finally reached the tomb that held her "friends".
She knelt down in front of it and placed a bouquet of roses on the right side of the tomb and a bouquet of blue lillies to the left of the tomb.
For her mother loved roses and her father loved lillies.
She stepped back and knelt down, praying, and crying softly.
"Take care, my great friends! Take care of them my god." she looked up at the sky and whipped away her tears. The sun, to her, was her mother's smile from the realm of the gods.
She cleared her throat and sang a bit,
'Wishing you were somehow here again... Wishing you were somehow near... Sometimes it seemed If i just dreamed! Somehow you would be here! Wishing i could hear your voice again Knowing that i never would... Dreaming of you Won't help me to do! All that you dream i could...'

Eidlin came to the burial grounds in one last attempt to find out something about her mother and her mother's family. Moving from statue to grave marker, the girl gazed on the names there in hopes of finding one with her mother's family name of Isilramel. Suddenly, a clear voice broke Eidlin's monotonous search.
Looking up, she scanned across the grounds to find a figure many yards away singing, her black veil billowing in the light breeze.
Eidlin would not have bothered her, had not she recognized the voice to be that of her friend, Cellina. Quietly she made her way over to where her friend stood. The girl stopped quite a distance away and solemnly waited for the song to end.

Cellina heard Eidlin come into the burial grounds and finished her song. She stood and turned to Eidlin.
"Hello," she smiled.

"Hello, and forgive me for intruding," she said softly. She figured that if Cellina never told her that she lost anyone then there was a reason for it. And now Eidlin feared that she had intruded on the girl's personal ground.
"Would you like for me to wait outside the burial grounds for you?" she asked softly. "I would like to talk to you, but perhaps you'd like to be alone."

Cellina shook her head. "No. You are fine where you are. I am just visiting Mama and Papa." she looked over her shoulder at the large tomb. "What would you like to talk about, Eidlin?" she turned her full attention on the girl, for she knew that something was lingering on her mind.

"Nothing in particular," she replied honestly. She didn't want to bother the girl with her own family troubles, but a though implanted itself in her mind just then. "Are elves not immortal then?" she asked, glancing at Cellina's parents' tomb.

Cellina chuckled lightly. "No, they are." she sighed, sitting down on a smooth brick wall. "I guess i best explain." she stated with a slight smile. "When i was six, my mother grew pale and the light of her guardian star started to leave her. This soon happened to my father. When the lights were off them, they passed." she tried to explain.
"Each elf is tied to a certain Elvin star. When the light of the star abandons them, they die. Even the great astronomers can't say why the stars abandon us... But i have a star that never abandons anyone." she nodded, encouraging her, "So i won't die." she smiled, but then frowned. "Immorality has it's advantages and it's disadvantages."

Eidlin listened with interest as Cellina spoke. Hearing her finish, the girl wondered what her mother's star was that abandoned her so suddenly.
"Indeed, there are advantages and disadvantages to almost everything in life," she said softly. "I'm sorry for your loss. But tell me, who raised you since you were six? For I believe you must have been quite young, by elven years then." Realizing that she was asking too much about her friend's personal life, she quickly added, "Forgive my prying questions. You should not answer if you do not wish it."

Cellina shook her head. "I mind not." she stated, "My brother is turning 200 and my other brother is twelvety and nine." (129). She nodded. "They raised me and i am afraid they still think i'm a child..." she sighed, "Which i am until i turn thirty-three."

"Yes, I thought you mentioned a brother before, but I wasn't sure. So where be they now?" Eidlin asked curiously as she sat on the grass before her friend.

"Lel's on some "grand adventure" and Jakell is at home. Their both big butts." she stated firmly crossing her arms over her chest. She laughed a bit, "But their nice and fun. I love them both to peices..." she sighed and smiled, "You should come meet them sometime!"

"I do not think that I will be staying here long enough to meet them. To tell you the truth, I was planning on heading back to the human city in a few days. There is nothing really here for me to do, no offense," Eidlin added hastily. She loved the beauty that the elven realm displayed, but there was just something about the place that alienated the girl.
"I am glad that I saw you here, for I wasn't sure if I would be able to say good bye to you or not. Now, though, I fear not, for my problem has solved itself."

"What?"

Eidlin wondered if Cellina took her words the wrong way. Hastily, she tried to correct her mistake.
"Oh, I believe you have misunderstood me, Cellina, dear friend," Eidlin said with a small smile. "I'm on my way to the human city of Rhyfaugh, I've been traveling in that direction for quite some time. I planned to stop by the elven realm to say farewell, but meeting you here has changed my course. Perhaps I shall see you in the human city once more."
Eidlin's eyes opened wide, and she realized what mistake she had made. Shaking her head, she tried to awaken her mind. "This past week I've been living in a dream, you see. Laenaia has affected me to such an extent that I still feel as though I'm still in the elven realm. Perhaps it was seeing you here that made me think so. Forgive my scaring you, dear friend. I seem to be in a poor state of mind at the moment."

Cellina smiled as she finally understood her friend.
"I'll escort you there!" she stood, smiling.
