"Leave..." she pondered, "In many ways you can use that word.... What is the meaning now?"

"Leave..." she pondered, "In many ways you can use that word.... What is the meaning now?" Eidlin turned to Cellina with a serious expression, her eyebrows slightly raised in thought. She seemed to contemplate the question for a moment, then her expression softened and a sparkle was seen in her large brown eyes.
"In this moment it means adventure. We will set off down a well known road to all. Going down this public road we will discover personal paths along the way that only a few before us have gone down. We will make these turns and from there we will discover a new part in out lives."
"Leaving now is remembering all that has happened and using it in the future. Leaving means that we can still look behind us and the memories of now will come back. But the road does not stop here, it continues. We cannot stand still, for time will not wait for us and either will our lives."
As if to prove her point, Eidlin turned to look at the empty grave yard, and the stone statue that she had bonded with so much. Than turning her head she looked at her friend, and after a while she turned to the open field and the road before them.

"Very well..." Cellina said raising a hand, "Use the gift at your waist and at your head. The bond that is giving between us has giving you the power to call me. My sword is your loyal servant and has no other duties. May the wind be at your sails and the push at your feet. Go forth and conqure the world that is there for the taking..."
She paused, and smiled, her eyes wet, "...and in time... i hope you come to visit Adunasir..." she raised a hand in fare-well, but dropped it and rushed to her in a hug.

Eidlin was shocked, as Cellina ran to hug her and hugged her back gently. However, putting her arms on her friend's shoulders she pushed her gently away.
Probably to the other's surprise, Eidlin was smiling.
"Cellina, my dear Cellina, I fear that you have misunderstood me. I'm not leaving this realm, not yet, nor in the near future. I am simply heading for the human city, where I did not know you were working. I thought you would remain in the elven city, where it was we last met, and thus seeing you here, I wanted to say goodbye."
She offered her friend a gentle smile before hugging her again. "I'm not leaving you, not really. If you want, you can head to the human city with me. I simply wasn't sure where you were heading after you visited your parents. I mean, there are many places one can go."
Hoping that she had cleared up the issue, Eidlin looked at her friend with a small grin.
"How could I leave a soul sister behind? Besides, where would I go, should I leave Adunasir?" her friends show of emotion had melted her wall of loneliness somewhat and Eidlin was unsure of what to say next.
As Balsid walked closer to his mistress, sensing some unease, Eidlin pulled him towards her friend. "Cellina, let me introduce to you my horse, Balsid. He's elven born, my mother's mare's fowl. He is the most intelligent horse I know, and the most loyal. Seeing as our bond is true, he's now as much yours as mine."
Turning to her horse, she stroked his check while looking him in his black eyes. "She will be family now. Trust her and obey her, all right? Try not to play your tricks on this elf, she's too nice to suffer like I do." Smiling she glanced back to Cellina, hoping she was all right.

Cellina felt stupid for not knowing the answer to the riddle. She smiled at her new friend and stood back. she nodded and reached out to pet the horse. "He's a rare find." she smiled.

"How so?" the girl asked with interest. "I always assumed that most elven breed horses were just like him. I mean, of the same intelligence if not temperament."

Cellina stroked the horses muzzle and smiled as she closed her eyes. "He... has royal blood. He was bred from a royal line of horses..." she smiled and opened her eyes. "Correct... Balsid?"

Eidlin turned to look at how on earth her playful animal could respond to the elf.
He came forward and nodding his head, he nuzzled the elf's hand with his muzzle. Then, turning his head from Cellina, he came to his owner in hopes of getting even more attention.
Eidlin only raised one eyebrow and gently pushed her horse's head away from herself towards Cellina.
"Royal line of horses you say? Then why on earth doesn't he behave? I would think that royalty would have some sense of decency in it," the girl said throwing her horse a sarcastic look but loving smile.

Cellina laughed, "True, but not all princes and princesses behave, now do they? There is always a..." she looked at the horse and then to Eidlin, smiling, "A troublemaker in a group of royalty..." she smiled and patted the horse as if saying: I forgive you.

"You have no idea what this guy puts me through," Eidlin said with an exasperated look. Then laughing a little at a memory she wrapped her arms around the stallion's neck affectionately. "I love him anyway," she said.
Then looking around at Cellina, she asked, "Do you have a horse? Otherwise did you walk all the way to the burial grounds?" Eidlin did not want her friend to walk such a distance and would much rather take her to her destination before continuing on her way.

"I have an mut of some-sort..." she smiled, "Ah. That's her over there..." she pointed to the black mare that was grazing in the flowers a field yonder. She turned to Eidlin.
"Oh! You must meet her!" she turned to the field, held out her hands by her side and sang out one, crystal clear note and the horse looked up. It troted over and stopped at Cellina's hand, nudging it slightly with her muzzle, "This is Shade." she smiled. "She's a mut, but a pure-bread.... if that makes sense..." she smiled.
Shade looked at Eidlin and bowed slightly.

"A pleasure, Shade," Eidin said as she ran her hand along the mare's neck. "A mut from a family of muts is indeed a pure bred. Although sometimes they are the most royal of animals, compared to some I know," she added with a grin.
Balsid snorted in response and as he walked around Eidlin happened to nudge her back with his head. Coming to a stop opposite Shade he nodded his head in an overly enthusiastic greeting. This made Eidlin laugh.
"Happy to meet someone who's owner is not out to kill me I see," she said to her horse.

Cellina smiled. "Indeed they are..." she nodded and watched as Balsid shook his head in greeting at the mare. Shade snorted. "I've had better greetings, but hello..." Shade spoke. Her mouth did not move, but the words were clear. She bowed slightly in return to his greeting.
Shade then turned back to Eidlin, "It's very nice to meet you. I've heard of you and you seem like a trustworthy person to me..."
Cellina smiled. "Well of course she is! We're soul-sisters now!" she laughed.

Hearing the mare speak, Eidlin jumped a good distance into the air. Her eyes grew wide as she eyed the animal wearily.
"A- You-" Eidlin tried to say but couldn't. Clearing her throat she tried a few more times but nothing happened.
'I think I hit my head harder than I thought. The animal didn't speak. I- I imagined it,' the girl thought. After all the animal did not open it's mouth.
But hearing Cellina respond to her, Eidlin could not keep argue with herself. Grabbing hold of Balsid's neck, she eyed Cellina hesitantly.
"I- did Shade just- Cellina?" she finally finished with a small shake of her head.

Cellina looked at Eidlin as she began to studder about Shade.
"Yes. She did just speak." Cellina smiled, "It was a gift i gave her when i bought her..."
