"Oh, no you don't have to do that," Eidlin said as she rose hurriedly to her feet. "Really, I know you are busy, and besides, I've traveled enough alone to be safe." As if to support her point, she placed her hand on the hilt of her old sword.

Cellina raised a brow at her friend.
'Busy'?
Cellina laughed and looked at her friend. "Ha! Busy! The only job i have is a waitress at the bar! I must go there anyhow. might as well as be with someone i like." she nodded.

"You work at the bar?" Eidlin inquired, standing up as well. She slowly began walking to the entrance to the grounds, her head turned towards her friend. She seemed to be learning more and more about Cellina as every minute passed by it seemed.

Cellina smiled and nodded. "Indeed i do! I just got the job a few days ago. Nothing in my gods-forbidden city is fun..." she rolled her eyes and walked to catch up with her friend. Eidlin must think that she was rather strange.

"Well than we shall definitely see more of one another. I plan to stay at the city for a while, but planning has only taken me from one city to the next," Eildin grew quiet as Cellina caught up to her with her brown eyes focused on the sky before them.
"All my life, I thought that just by getting here I could find what I needed. I was sure that things would just fall into place for me when I came to Adunasir. I see now that my future has grown more clouded since my horse took his first steps into the grasslands."
Musing, Eidlin continued to walk not sure where they were headed. She wondered about what she would do now that she at her destination. Her money would run out soon, for her last mission as a healer had been with wealthy merchants and had sustained her for two months now. Quietly she whispered out more to herself than her friend, "It seems that yet again my plans have wrapped themselves up and I am left alone, without cover, until a new one is made."

Cellina pittied the girl and tried to smile. "Well then Eidlin! You'll just have to come live with me, then won't you?" She placed her hands on her hips and smiled.

"Thank you, however I already have a place to stay. Forgive me, I should learn to keep my thoughts to myself." She was blushing, for she hadn't been aware that she was speaking out loud.
"After journeying alone for so long, you get used to your own company and talk out loud to keep yourself alert," she explained. "I have only to think of what to do now that I'm here. Frankly, this mistake could have been solved earlier, had I not been to lazy to think of the future. I live every day one at a time, and long time plans are beyond me," she said with a sigh.

Cellina nodded, understanding full well. Her friend was like that and he was a wondering elf, somewhere out of Adunasir now. She smiled.
"Are you sure? I mean... no charge and unlimited food!" she laughed slightly.

"I'll visit. Tell me though, where is it that you're staying, so that I can find you if I have the need."
Eidlin was deep in thought, wondering about her future, talking with Cellina, and was hardly paying attention where it was she was going. The next thing she knew she had run smack into a stone statue. Hitting it with some force, Eidlin felt herself loose her balance and fall backwards on her back.
Sitting on the ground, the girl shook her head forcefully, hoping to make her thoughts disappear. She figured that whatever was to happen would, her job for the present was to get to the human city. Then she'd make her next move.
"You know, sometimes I need sense to be knocked into me," Eidlin explained with a smile, looking up at her elven friend.

"I live to the west of the entry gates of the city of the elves. Right along the wall..."
She gasped as Eidlin ran into a stone statue. She smiled as Eidlin explained with a smile. She pulled her to her feet and wrapped one of Eidlin's arms around her shoulders.
"But sometimes... it's found in the most unlikly places. Come on... you're heading to far east..."

Eidlin had more then sense knocked out of her, for she did not understand what her friend had told her at that moment.
"East? I fear I have lost my memory," she smiled at that, "where is it you're leading me, my friend?"
She was indeed confused, but not enough not to know in what direction she was heading. Rubbing her head from the impact with the cold stone, she allowed Cellina to stear her in the right direction.

Cellina saw her confusion and led her the right way, while trying to explain,
"You say you seem to notice the sense was knocked into you. Well...," she looked over her shoulder at the statue that was shrinking with each step, and smiled, "Most unlikely place..." she looked at Eidlin to see if she understood now.

Eidlin understood, not well enough, for indeed the point was lost upon her. Still, she smiled at Cellina as she turned to look at the statue that had given her such a cold push.
"I find myself wondering what it is like, on the other side."
As the wind picked up, a low moan stretched across the burial grounds. The leaves danced across the ground pulling parts of dust into the air with them.
Battling with her brown hair, Eidlin turned to her friend and pulling stray hair out of her mouth, she remarked more seriously. "Yet perhaps not knowing is the best way to live, don't you agree?"

Cellina did agree. Not knowing how your life would turn out was, indeed, the best way to live. She nodded.
"But we often wonder..." she smiled.

"That's all that is left, is wondering," Eidlin replied. The girl made her way out of the burial grounds and into the open grasslands that surrounded it. The path she stood on diverged ahead of them. The left hand side lead to the elven kingdom while the right lead in the direction of the human city.
Eidlin's horse, Balsid, grazed a little way off from where his owner stood. A clear, musical whistle pierced the air and caused the horse's ears to perk up. Raising his black head, the horse's long black main streaked in the wind as he rad towards the sound, towards his mistress.
The stallion halted before the girl and affectionately lowered his head to her shoulder.
Eidlin raised her hand and her skin looked almost pail against his gleaming coat. "I guess it's time for us to leave," she said quietly to her friend.
