Cellina smiled. That's what she loved about this girl. She wanted to know a lot and tell a lot. She nodded, cleared her throat and began,
"Well... i guess i can tell you about my family!" she smiled, "I had a mother and father, who both died when their star abbandoned them. I have two older brothers: Jakell. He's 129, and Lel, he's 200..." she nodded, "I'm the youngest: 31.." she stated solemly. She sertainly didn't act it, but she was happy she was almost to adult hood.
"Both of my brothers are rather strange. Jakell, oh i love him to bits, he is a warrior in the elvin army and very good at archery." She crossed her legs, "Lel... well... lel is a different story. He's more of a rebel and a traveler than a warrior. He... how to say this.. he's like the highest-of-elves... he thinks himself better than other races..." she shook her head, "but when he meets them, he likes them... he's wierd." she smiled.
"Now my mama and papa... well.. i bearly knew them. They died when i was eight and i don't remember them much. But Jakell and Lel both say i have mom's looks and father's attitude..." she laughed. " fifty-fifty, right?"
She looked across the table at Eidlin and smiled, "Anything else?"

Eidlin smiled at Cellina, a kind of happy and kind smile with a hint of sadness to it. Yet hungry for more, Eidlin took her friend's willingness to talk and used it without delay.
"Of course. I'd love to hear about your childhood, perhaps you have some interesting stories or experiences you wouldn't mind sharing?"
Eidlin found her life fascinating and wanted to hear as much about it as possible. In many ways, the girl fed on others happy stories to make up for her lonely state of life. However, that loneliness was slowly being filled by the care and attention she received from such wonderful people like Cellina. Eidlin's eyes urged her friend on, their need hidden but not unfelt.

"Well then!" she saw her friends egerness, "I'm sure that this conversation will take much more than one pot of coffee, no?" she waved a waitress over and asked for a pot of coffee.
When the waitress set it on the table, Cellina poured herself a cup and handed one to her friend.
"Well..." she sipped and swallowed the hot liquid, "There are many fun and enchanting stories i can tell..." she thought for a moment.
"Ah yes. I have the perfect one..." she smiled, "Once... when i was starting training for Sorcery, I was quite the rebel... after my parents and all... and my teacher had taken us to the battle feilds to heal the wounded..." she sipped and swallowed again. "I was not paying attention and tripped over a few bodies alive and not." she laughed, "Well... once... i fell ontop of a wounded soldier and sort of froze. He was handsome but covered in blood and gashes....
"He wrapped his arms around me and begged me to stay." She set her cup on the table, still holding it with both hands, "he said that the warmth of a young lady's flesh was welcoming to the fights effect. I stayed there and my class forgot about me.
"Laying there, we talked for a while and laughed together. I remember that so well..." she smiled, "We found out that we were only three years appart. Him being twenty-three and myself twenty..." she turned a bit pink, "I finally sat beside him and healed him instantly.
"A class member saw and rushed to tell the teacher and she came. She had told me that he was nearly escaping death's cold clutches and she asked how i did it. I didn't know what to say so i said that it was the care and the laughter shared with the patient.
"I was kicked out of that class. We weren't supposed to communicate with our patients and she was angry. I didn't care. I taught myself and well... look where I am today! I'm a Healer Sorceress and i have a spirit sister! Very accomplished for someone of my age in the Elvin Realm." she smiled. She was going to take any of Eidlin's questions and answer them with detail so she could share.
She sipped at her coffee and tingled at the warm feeling it left on her body. She smiled over at Eidlin.

Eidlin smiled and nodded once in a while as she listened to her friend's tale. Sipping her coffee, she barely noted how hot it was and ignored the burning sensation on her tongue.
"You know, that is the best way of learning, by yourself. That way, you get experience and knowledge all at once. That and self respect. I'm proud that you managed to do all of that on your own, and while so young. I'm sure your parents and brothers would be and are proud of you." Smiling she reached over and gently squeezed her friend's hand. "I'm honored to be a soul sister with you," she added.
"So did you ever get to see this warrior again? I mean, did he ever know that he helped you as much as you did him. For, as I take it, if it hadn't been for him, you'd have never managed such a powerful spell on your own."

Cellina smiled. She nodded at Eidlin's comment and grinned wider. At the mention of the soldier, her grin faded.
"Yes. We were to be married in a month, but i have not heard from him in weeks.... He's out somewhere...." she looked out the window. "Sarius..." she nodded, "That was his name." She smiled and took another sip.

Eidlin's smile faded as she heard her friend's reply.
"That doesn't mean he is not comming back." Still, she knew of a warrior's life, and carried little hope for it. Yet hope there was, and forever would be. This hope she hoped to install in her friend, if she needed it.
"Would he be the same one you danced with earlier?" Eidlin asked suddenly, trying to put her friend's stories in order in her mind.

Cellina laughed. "That was a mere immortal..." she paused. She hid her face in her hands and shook her head, "I'm so... confused... and... lost..."

Eidlin watched Cellina place her head in her hands and heard only two words, confused and lost. A little surprised and unnerved by her friend's response, the girl carefully got out of her seat and came around the table until she was kneeling on the ground before the elf. All the while she tried to figure out what Cellina meant by her last statement.
Placing a comforting hand on her friend's shoulder, Eidlin gently spoke, "If you wish to talk, I'll gladly listen. It is good to get things off your chest and maybe telling me about whatever it is that has gotten you so confused will help you find the way out of your dilemma."

Cellina peeked through her fingers and saw the girl beside her. She listened to her words and came out of hidding. She looked at Eidlin and took her hands.
"That was the night i had forgotten the promise! I feel so awful! But... i'm not sure if i can be blamed, but i've been alone for months and i wanted some attention..." she looked down at her friend with a smile, "Can I be blamed?"

Eidlin looked at her friend with pity in her eyes. She could see that this action in her past tortured her ruthlessly.
"Cellina, no one can blame you for such things apart from yourself. Do not ask me if you deserve such pain, for I say nay. Perhaps you should better wonder whether you have blamed yourself enough. It is your personal choice and as far as I'm concerned you did not marry the elf. Therefore, it is safe to assume that you have not been unfaithful for you have no husband to be unfaithful to."
Eidlin hoped that her broken logic made since. She never had a relationship built on love and trust before. She never really trusted others for such security and safety. Thus, knowing the urge Cellina felt for attention, the half-elf sympathized with the other easily.

Cellina looked at her friend with a nod and then grabbed her in a big hug.

Eidlin returned the hug awkwardly. She wasn't used to such show of affection although she had yearned for it for years. A happy smile grazed her lips, but she let if fade, in case Cellina received the wrong message.
Looking at her friend in earnest, she tried to find an answer in her blue eyes. "Are you all right?" she finally asked, not sure of Cellina's reaction to what she had previously stated.

Cellina nodded. "Yes... thank you."
She was positive that Eidlin was not really used to the hug thing. She smiled and an idea popped into her head, "You have to meet my brother, Jakell, sometime!"

"Um.. sure I'd like to meet him," Eidlin said hesitantly. She wasn't sure why Cellina suggested this, but she trusted her friend's better judgment. Or perhaps it was a simple friendly suggestion and nothing more.
"Is he as friendly as you are?"

Cellina laughed. "Oh! Yes! He's a big softy!" Cellina smiled, "You'll like him. My brother Lel is a bit more spectical though..." she nodded, agreeing with herself, "but you'll like both of them when you meet them..." she smiled agian and turned at the sound of the door opening.
She smirked, "That's Jakell..." she pointed to the tall elf that just entered. He had long black hair that was jaggedly cut to his shoulders and bright blue eyes. "He looks a lot like Lel... but sweeter in my opinion!" She waved him over.
He smiled and headed over, sitting beside Cellina. He gave her a hug and then smiled at Eidlin. "I'm Jakell. I'm Cellina's older brother..." he extended a hand.
"Yeah! Let me clarify: by ninty-nine years!" she laughed. Jakell nudged her and shook his head, posing a small laugh.
