Jakell laughed to, but only after crossing his arms and giving a gruff, hmpf.
Cellina smiled. "So you think, youngling." she grinned, with a glint of trouble in her bright eyes. "But none the less... Certainly out numbered by physical help."
(ooc: *hugs* please read 'My Dear Friends...' in 'Everything Else'! I'll miss you terribly!)

(ooc: this thread will be here when you return. *tears* I'll miss you too.)
Eidlin slowly leaned backwards in her chair, not sure of what Cellina had in mind. And just as slowly positioned herself behind Jakell.
"Um... would this be a good time to reconsider our options?" she asked him with a grin. "You wouldn't know, by any chance, what Cellina has in mind, do you?"

Jakell smiled over his shoulder at her. He nodded. "Her powers are strong. Did you ever hear about the Woman in White? The one that all the soldiers feared in the battle?" he nodded and motioned to Cellina.
"She can attack thirty at once..." he jumped behind Eidlin and grabbed her around the waist with one arm and the other held out a long blade, "I won't let you hurt her!" he laughed.
Cellina rolled her eyes and looked at him, "Jakell... I'd never hurt her..." she smirked,"Just you... you know that..." she smiled and laughed. She raise a quizzical brow at them.
"Hathun lelgend fphel, Jakell?" she asked in elvin. Jakell blushed but replied strongly.
"Harthen!"
Cellina smiled, "I knew it." she laughed and winked at Eidlin.

"Woman in white?" she asked tilting her head to her side in confusion. This was definitely one story she had not had the pleasure of hearing.
'She can attack thirty at once...'
"Then I'll make sure to nev-" Eidlin began but suddenly Jakell jumped up and wrapped his arm around her while waving a blade at his sister. The girl blushed fiercely from the contact and gently tried to pry herself free unsuccessfully. She was a little uncomfortable but she couldn't help but smile as Jakell swore that he wouldn't let Cellina hurt her.
'Hathun lelgend fphel, Jakell?' 'Harthen!' she heard in elvish. Sadly, Eidlin's mother never taught her daughter the language of their kin and therefore the girl now had no idea what was being said.
Lowering one eyebrow, she send Cellina a look that bordered confusion and understanding.

Cellina winked at her and smiled again. "Hatho nas, Jakell!" she ordered.
Jakell let go and stood her up. He sheithed his sword and sat down, looking at Cellina for a moment.
"Good boy." she smirked. "Well..." she looked over at her friend, "Sorry about him..." she sighed, "He's a bit of a baaaaaaaaaaad boy!" she slapped his hand playfully. Jakell rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Hyrin badle frin doniny... Cellina?" he asked with a smirk. Cellina gave him a fake snooty look with a smile.
"O... sod off, lelgend boy!" she laughed and looked over at Eidlin again. "Oh, ignor him! Sit sit! we have discussed little!" she said cheerily.

Now that he let go of her, she sat down slowly, scanning the faces of the siblings with interest.
"Well, to me it looks as though you've discussed quite a lot. I guess I'll have to learn elvish to make sure that next time I'm left in the dark."
Eidlin noted the smirks playing across Cellina's face, but decided to pay them no mind, after all, why make her brother's reaction into more than it was.
"So Cellina, what exactly have we discussed so little of?"

"Your classes, my dear friend!" she smiled. She looked at the girl and kept her smile as she spoke to her in thought.
'Ja'kell obviously likes you.... But that is another story, no?'. She laughed and looked over at Jakell. "Do you mind getting us something more to drink?"
Jakell shook his head, stood, and walked over to the bar again. Cellina leaned across the table, taking Eidlin's hands, "So?"

Eidlin was a little surprised when she heard Cellina's voice in her head. Still, she didn't let Jakell notice her surprise. As he walked away, Eidlin chocked her head towards Cellina as she raised one eyebrow.
"Is that what you were talking about?" she asked in a little forceful tone. "I, for one didn't notice anything. He's simply being nice. Besides," she added, dropping her hurt act and acting as her normal self, "he might be doing these things to annoy you, as his little sister."
Eidlin feared thinking, in case Cellina could read her thoughts. The girl was simply wondering what she would do if Jakell did like her. After all, she had never had anyone show such affection for her as far as she could remember. It was something Eidlin did not know how to handle, and lately, she was receiving more and more hints of the kind.
"You have no idea how much training I need," she told her friend, although to her the phrase carried a double meaning.

Cellina smiled as she mentioned that he'd just be doing this to annoy her as a little sister. But she doubted that, so she shook her head, "No. He's never done this before.... But yes. That's what we were talking about." she nodded to herself.
She looked up at her again and then thought about how she might be thinking that he did. Cellina smlied and listened to her as she said that she needed a lot of training.
"Nonsence! If i was able to learn three spells in my first day, so can you!" she laughed. She looked over as Ja'kell came back with their drinks and passed them out. She smiled, "Thanks." She drank and all the while, looked over the brim of her cup at Eidlin.

Eidlin was able to hide her smirk as she pressed the offered cut to her lips. Sure, Cellina was right, but only on one subject. There was no way she was going to learn, not unless she made many mistakes on the way.
"Thank you, Ja'kell," she told him with a smile. "Now, Cellina, which three spells were these. For, I can promise you, they will not be mastered easily."
Turning on the subject of magic made her a little more comfortable then she was before. Sure, she was an amateur on both, but one had to be better than the other. Seeing Cellina's scanning eyes, Eidlin couldn't help but glance at her friend's brother once more. And figuring out the gauze's intent, Eidlin gave Cellina a warning look before smiling warmly.

Cellina laughed. "Oh... the common summoning charm, the leg-bound spell, and then the object-lifting spells..." she smiled over at her friend. "A great deal of a small day's work." she laughed at Eidlin's work before draining her glass and looking at Jakell.
"I remember that day..." he smiled, "You tried all three non-stop, eventually, getting Lel and myself locked up in the broom closet." he shook his head and then laughed.
Cellina smiled, "Oh... i remember that day too..." she laughed.

"Well, if I were either of you," Eidlin warned them as she pushed her glass away, "I'd walk out of this tavern this instant and never look back. If Cellina only got you locked against a closet, then I will do much worse. Really, I bet I'll be able to lock your hands behind your back and glue you to a wall with more ease than it will take me to do the spells properly."
Looking at Cellina, the girl let her joking drop, "You know I have hardly a drop of magic in me. How am I supposed to do magic when I'm only half an elf?"

"Even the smallest amount can make the greatest!" she smiled at her. Jakell nodded. "You just have to believe, and... did i ask you? Do you like to read?" Cellina raised a brow.

"I hardly ever find the time. Once, though, I was treated to an evening in a lord's library. It was one of the best days of my life. Travel, however, brings a greater toll on the traveler than many would ever think. So to answer your question, Cellina, yes I like to read, and can read in many different tongues, but I do not read new material often."
Then, smiling, she reached down under the table where she found her sack which she had dropped there upon arriving at the Tavern. Rummaging inside for a good while, she finally pulled out an aged, yellow roll of parchment.
"This is my most prized possession. It is a collection of tales, a historical account you can say, of all the places I have traveled to. Some of it was written by my mother and father, the others by travelers I met along my way, even a bard or two. There are songs in here, legends, anything and everything."
"Now I know I've strayed from the subject at hand, but the both of you can definitely read it if you'd like. I have a feeling that Cellina is a lover for books, so perhaps she, you, will take me up on my offer?" Eidlin smiled at her friends as she held the large roll gently in her hands.

Cellina listened to Eidlin, though she seemed to waiver from the main topic, but she caught herself and brought out a scroll of old yellowish parchment. She explained what was on it and Cellina smiled she nodded and took the scroll gently in her hands. She rolled it open and read a bit of the contents, just the names for now. She gasped as her eyes grew wide.
"LOR!" she looked at Eidlin in shock, "You've met Bard Manchivll Shillkol!?" she asked suprised. Ja'kell raised a brow and looked hurridly at it. Giving the same response as Cellina he looked over at Eidlin in scock.
