Eidlin offered him a small smile wondering if he knew they were talking about him.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Eidlin, Isilramel, after my mother."
She took the elf's hand and shook it gently, noting the similarities between him and his sister.

He smiled, nodded, and pulled back his hand. He snapped his fingers and a waiter walked up. He smirked. "One hit," he smiled.
Cellina smacked her lips and then his stomach, with a laugh, "Good thing alcohol has no effect on elves!" she rolled her eyes at him as he sipped at the pint that was set in front of him.
Jakell grinned and swallowed, "Ah...! Tasteless!" he smiled, "So Cellina! You haven't been home all day! Where did you go?" he asked. She smiled.
"Here and there..." she pointed at the table and then outside. "Talking and shopping!" she smiled.

Eidlin watched the interection with a smile. It was always good to see family that was so close.
"Perhaps that is my fault that she hasn't been home. I must admit, I've kept her here far too long. Forgive me."

Jakell looked over at her and smiled. "Ah, no worries, Lel's the one that's a worry wort! I know that my little Cellina can take care of herself!" he pinched Cellina's cheek.
"Oh do stop it!" Cellina waked his hand away, "Anyways..." she turned back to Eidlin. "I-"
"You better stop hitting me and making me stick to walls with your magic if you want to live..." he laughed. His face changed to one of horor as Cellina, with magic, made him stick to the walls. "HAY!"
"What were we talking about Eidlin, dear? I'm afraid the crow I'm related to lost my train of thought." She smiled.

Eidlin couldn't help but laugh as the elf found himself glued to a wall.
"Now you don't see that every day," she muttered as she smiled at Cellina. "As far as I recall, it was that Cow on the wall that was the topic of our conversation. Perhaps we could leave him in peace for the moment and proceed on to lighter matters," she offered with a wave of her hand imitating a regal queen of sorts.
It amazed Eidlin how easily she could adapt at such speech. It was only with close people that she let her vocabulary lag and become normal. With strangers, her tone was much more proper as was her speech.
"Really, Cellina," she added with a smile, "I don't remember what we were discussing. Instead I have a random question for you. What is the best thing about magic. I'm interesting in it and I couldn't help but ask," she explained.

Cellina smiled and laughed at her brother as he struggled, aimlessly, against the magic. She turned to Eidlin and listened to her with a warm smile.
"What is the best thing about magic?" she replied, "Well... it gives you self-defence (as you witnessed earlier), long-range protection, short-range, a quick way to supply yourself, and... it's a lot of fun to learn!" she smiled.
"Do you want to learn it?"
"NO!" Jakell cried. He was now hanging up-side down.
"Oh, Jakell! You leave her be! And remember what i said about my magic?"
Jakell sighed, "It doesn't wear-off unless you stop it..." he turned right-side up and crossed his arms. Cellina nodded,
"Good..." she turned to Eidlin, "So...?"

The healer looked at Cellina with eyebrows arched.
"Me, learn magic? You must be joking. It takes time, and besides, don't you have to have some magic in you to perform it," Eidlin argued in reply.
Her eyes, however, betrayed her eagerness to accept her friend's offer. She really wanted to learn, but teaching would interfere with Cellina's life not to mention her own. She knew that any long-term commitment would tie her down in the city for along time. Could she handle such a change, a stable life, Eidlin knew not.

Cellina smiled, and as if reading her thoughts looked her in the eyes. "I know it takes time, but i see and sense that you are interested in it! I have no place but my own to stay." she paused.
"I'll travel and teach."

Eidlin smiled, for once happy that her thoughts were not secret.
"Tell you what," Eidlin replied, hoping to compromise both their life styles, "while I'm here you can teach. You never know what kind of student I'll be. Perhaps you'll want to run away after our first lesson."
Eidlin looked Cellina over, happy to have such a friend. She only hoped that after all their trials, they'd remain just as positive to one another.
"I have to warn you, though," Eidlin added, "my last teacher almost went mad after just five months with me. You sure you can stand up to the challenge?"

"A challenge is something i can take for a life-time..." she laughed, "Which in this case is a LONG time!" she laughed merrily again.

Eidlin smiled, although she would not let herself fathom what it would be like to live forever.
"So tell me, Madam, what sort of intense training am I to expect from you? After all, by the looks of that young man on the wall, it is a dangerous undertaking, to be learning sorcery from you," she joked smiling.

Cellina shook her head.
"Of course, we'll have to set up some rules!" she laughed and smiled, "Just call me Cellina, as always.... None of this Madame stuff." she waved a hand, "But--"
After all, by the looks of that young man on the wall, it is a dangerous undertaking, to be learning sorcery from you," she joked smiling.
Cellina crossed her arms and laughed lightly, "Oh, not at all... that's a sisterly love..." she pointed at Jakell. "But... it won't be that hard. I've learned in the ways of the Elves, humans, and darkelves..." she smiled, "that's going to make it easier for you to understand..."

"Of course it is," Eidlin replied with a smile. "But, dear Cellina, I must ask you to release your poor brother from the the wall. He is your elder and you shouldn't disrespect him so much that he takes his wrath out on you."

Cellina smiled at her words.
"Ceeeeeeeeeeeelllllllliiiiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaaaaa..." came Jakell's voice. Cellina turned and looked at him.
"Oh. Fine." she clapped her hands, the wires wet away and he stepped down and then sat on the other side of the table by Eidlin. Cellina laughed, "Running to her for protection, dear brother?"
Jakell nodded, "I don't see why not! You wouldn't harm such a fair thing as she!" he smiled.

Eidlin blushed off the compliment, not really used to the whole thing.
"I really do hope that you won't harm the two of us seeing as we're defenseless against your magic," the girl told her friend while smiling at Jakell. "Than again, we do have strength in numbers, and should you attack us, you're out matched."
"That's only if we're not hanging upside down on the walls," she added with a laugh.
